Wood Street Mission & a visit from 3JH!

On Friday we had a visit from some volunteers from Wood Street Mission who are a charity helping local people in Manchester. They came with lots of amazing books. We were able to choose five books from the selection for Year 1 and take home for FREE! As soon as we got back to class we wanted to have some quiet reading time and look at our new books. Reading for Pleasure at its best!!! 

In the afternoon we had a visit from Miss Higgin's Year 3 class who came to read their own versions of the traditional story 'Cinderella.' We loved listening to them and Renato thought they were 'Amazing!!!' Thank you Year 3!
