Hello,

I hope you are ready for a challenge. Today we are going to build on the skills from yesterday and  focus on finding a quarter and half of an amount. Finding a quarter is even trickier than finding half. Have a look at these links they might help you remember how to do it.

Challenge 1

Draw a picture of a square, circle and rectangle. Can you use a ruler to count the shapes into a half and into a quarter. Colour half of a shape in red and a quarter in blue.

Challenge 2

Get a piece of fruit or a biscuit. break it into half then into quarters.
