🌻 Sunflower Growth Update 🌻

This morning, one of our Friday Challenges was to look at and then talk about the progress our sunflowers have made. We planted them nearly two weeks ago and we are beginning to see some progress. We counted only four seedlings but we think the others are growing roots. We can't see the roots because they are under the soil. The seed coat opens up and the roots grow down then the shoot grows up.
