Seasonal Changes

Date: 20th Jan 2025 @ 8:04pm

In science we learn about the seasonal changes throughout the year. This year we decided we were going to look at each season in detail as it came over the year. In the classroom we have created a display with each season which we are displaying some of our work over the year. We also decided to take a photo outside in front a tree in our playground over the four seasons to see how it changed over the year.

Last week we discussed the season of winter and the changes that over over the months of December, January and February. Then we took our photo in front of the same tree we saw during Autumn. We discussed how the leaves had fallen off and it was bare. The weather was colder and animals like to hibernate and keep themselves warm underground. We also discussed the kinds of activities we would do during winter and what clothes we must wear. Some people in our class enjoyed winter because they celebrated Christmas or their birthday during this season.
