Patterns Everywhere!

This week, in Maths, we have been learning to name and find patterns in the environment. First we played a game with the Stepping Stones, naming the patterns. Then we hunted for patterns in our classroom. Once we'd found a patterned object we used the sentence stem, "I can see a ..."

Practice saying these sentences then see if you can find the photo of that object.

"I can see a stripy chair"

"I can see a spotty toy"

"I can see a spotty die"

Our new pattern vocabulary is spotty, checked, stripy, swirly, plain and zig zag.
