How do you mummify a person?

This week, year 3 have been writing instructions on how to mummify a person. We have read many different instructions in order to gather information, and have practised writing adverbs and time connectives. 

We then wrote our instructions, carefully considering the equipment an Ancient Egyptian would use.

Today, we were able to test our instructions! Year 3 used drama to act out their mummification techniques, and even used toilet paper as their 'soft linen bandages.'
