✈️ All Aboard Year 5 Airlines! 🚀

This half term, Year 5 are taking off on a learning journey through time! We're exploring how transport technology has changed since the Victorian era — from horse-drawn carts and steam trains to super-fast jets and rockets soaring into space!

To launch our topic, we transformed the classroom into an aeroplane! With boarding passes in hand, everyone 'checked in', found their seats, and experienced what it’s like to be a passenger on a real flight. We talked about airport routines, in-flight announcements, and even thought about how it feels to take off and land!

From roads and railways to supersonic speeds and splashdowns, we’re ready to explore how technology has taken travel to the next level. Grab your boarding pass and relax — it’s going to be an exciting ride!
