Friday's Maths!

Hi everyone,

What day is it today? Thats right... It's Fantastic Friday! What day will it be tomorrow?

This week, in our Maths learning we have been ordering and sequencing events.

For today's challenge you will need a teddy or toy (doll)!

You are going to help one of your teddies or toys to get ready for bed, by talking through the order and sequence of what they need to do.

What do they need to do first? What do they need to do next?

Talk about all the things your toy needs to do before they go to bed – Have they brushed their teeth? Have they put on their night clothes? Can you read them a bedtime story?

Take a look at the picture below.

With your adult see if you can make a list of the sequence. You can help your teddy by drawing pictures and talking about the order, what comes first? What do they need to do next?

You could also have a go at this extra challenge this weekend too!

Extra challenge: Draw pictures of activities you do this weekend. Can you use the words first, next, after that and finally to describe the order of what you have done?
